The Salt Institute has published short summaries of the results of two important studies by Marquette University on the safety impacts of winter maintenance: The Public's Right to Wintertime Traffic Safety (pdf 729.29 kB) and Cost Effective Wintertime Mobility and Safety: We Deserve It, We Can Afford It (pdf 822.12 kB) .
