FDA re-opens public comment period on GRAS status of salt

Admitting that a change-over of its online submission website had prevented full public posting of earlier-submitted comments, and at the request of the Salt Institute, the Food and Drug Administration has reopened for 60-days the public comment period on the CSPI petition to remove the GRAS status of salt. New deadline: August 11.
