Mitsui buys Akzo Nobel's Onslow, Australia solar saltworks

Akzo Nobel's divestment of its Australian solar saltworks at Onslow was announced today. Mitsui, owner of Salt Institute associate member Shark Bay Salt, purchased the 2.25 million ton faciility for a bit over $100 million (US).
