10 Win Salt Institute Excellence in Storage Award
Ten state and local government transportation facilities in the U.S. and Canada earned the 2006 Excellence in Storage Award from Salt Institute. The award recognizes high standards of environmental consciousness and effective management of winter materials storage. Another forty-eight facilities were cited for “continuing excellence” for sustaining award-winning programs recognized in the first 19 years of the program.
