Waiting for winter
Eastern Pennsylvania is pretty typical of "winter" in the East so far this year. Unlike the Rockies which have been blanketed with repeated snow and ice storms, it's been a golfer's dream in the East with temperatures in the 50s and precipitation entirely liquid.
Still, snowfighters must be ready for storm emergencies. A recent story from Easton, PA reports the increased "stress" facing snowfighters with nothing to do. The story features the Excellence in Storage awards won by PennDOT Pen Argyle district and Whitehall Township as a key part of those agencies' preparations for the inevitable - snow IS inevitable, right?
