Salt men featured exhibit in new Iranian museum

Insights into Persian society 2,000 to 2,500 years ago are being gleaned from "salt men" mummified in salt, some thought to date from 650 BC. Last month, Zanjan Province, Iran, opened a new museum featuring four such "salt men," a unique resource for archeologists and anthropologists.
