A new publication by Aharon Oren, a Jewish professor of plant and environmental sciences in Jerusalem, discusses the politics of salt trading in16th century Scandinavia as reported (in Latin) by Olaus Magnus, a contemporaneus Swedish clergyman living in Rome.
